Jaipur, 11 October (Hindustan Reporter). Due to the influence of easterly winds, some parts of Udaipur, Kota and Jodhpur divisions of Southern Rajasthan are likely to remain cloudy for the next three-four days with light and moderate rain at some places and thunderstorms. The weather is likely to remain mainly dry in the northern and north-western parts of the state. On Friday, light to moderate rain was recorded at about three-four places including Udaipur.
According to the Meteorological Department, the average amount of humidity in the air was recorded between 50 to 85 percent in most parts of the state. Light to moderate rainfall was recorded at isolated places in Rajasthan on Thursday. Maximum rainfall of 23 mm was recorded in Sedwa (Barmer). The day of Jaisalmer and Sriganganagar was the hottest with 37.6 degrees and the night of Phalodi was the hottest with 26.2 degrees. Sikar had the coldest night with 16 degrees.
There were scattered clouds and light winds in Jaipur on Friday. Due to this, a slight decline was recorded in the mercury of Jaipur. The maximum temperature of Jaipur was recorded at 34 degrees and the minimum temperature was 23.6 degrees. Due to the influence of easterly winds, clouds were also seen in Jaipur. There is a possibility of light rain in Jaipur with cloudy sky in the coming days.
