
The pace of monsoon has increased across the country. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a detailed weather bulletin for July 11, warning of heavy rain in many parts of the country. According to the latest evening bulletin of the Meteorological Department, at present a strong low pressure area is active over the northern parts of Central Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, a cyclonic circulation remains up to a height of 9.5 kilometers above sea level.
The trough line (axis line) of monsoon is currently passing through Ganganagar, Rohtak, low pressure center of UP, Gorakhpur and Muzaffarpur and reaching Mizoram. Due to the activation of these powerful weather systems and western disturbances, more than 12 states of the country will see heavy to extremely heavy rains and thunderstorms on July 11.

Due to heavy rains in the hilly states of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, the risk of landslides has also increased, hence travelers have been asked to exercise caution.
Alert of lightning and strong winds at the speed of 50 KM/H
Along with rain, the Meteorological Department has also given serious warning of thunderstorm and lightning. There is a strong possibility of strong winds at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour and lightning in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh and Telangana.
Apart from this, dusty winds are expected to blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in Bihar, Karnataka, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, West Bengal, Sikkim and Western Madhya Pradesh. There is an alert of thunder and lightning in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and the northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of very high surface winds in parts of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana in South India.
