New Delhi, 07 September (HS). Rain continued throughout the day in the capital Delhi on Saturday. According to the India Meteorological Department, similar rains are expected to continue for the next two-three days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Saturday that on September 7, an orange alert was issued in four states including Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa, while a yellow alert is issued in the national capital Delhi. The Regional Meteorological Center in Delhi has predicted generally cloudy weather with light rain and thundershowers during the day and has predicted that rains will continue till September 9.
According to IMD, very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during 09 to 12. Heavy rainfall is likely over Odisha on 08 and 09 September. At the same time, heavy rain is likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till 13 September. Heavy rain is likely over Sikkim on 9 and 10 September, West Bengal from 9 to 12 September and Arunachal Pradesh from 10 to 12 September.
