Rajasthan Floods: Due to heavy rains, most of the districts of Rajasthan are flooded. Dams and reservoirs are filled with water everywhere. The roads of the cities are flowing but no one knows what people will say about their grief in this crisis. People know about the disaster but who is the disaster management minister? No one knows about this because those who got the ministry resigned. Now when the opposition is raising questions, the BJP state president said that the minister who was there earlier is still there i.e. Kirori Lal Meena.
Former CM Ashok Gehlot tweeted that the Chief Minister should clarify the situation so that proper monitoring and guidelines can be given for relief work. Such a state of confusion in dire circumstances is akin to betrayal of the people of the state. Gehlot's tweet has created a political uproar. Ashok Gehlot also wrote that more than 25 people have died due to heavy rains and related accidents across the state. It is unfortunate that in such a disaster situation, the public does not even know about the state's disaster relief minister whether he is in office or his resignation has been accepted.
Seven districts of Rajasthan are facing floods. In Karauli district, houses, shops and markets have all been submerged due to floods. People have been waiting for four days, whom should we appeal to? Who is the Disaster Management Minister? This has become a mystery. The minister of this department was Kirori Lal Meena. He has already resigned from the post but the BJP state president is saying that Meena is the minister. Congress has asked the Chief Minister to answer who is the Disaster Relief Minister of Rajasthan, answer, who is responsible for relief.
