Preparations for Durga Puja, Diwali and the great festival of folk faith, Chhath, across the country have now reached their peak, and in such a situation, Indian Railways has given a big relief news for the migrants going home. Keeping in mind the problem of heavy crowd and long waiting list in trains in this festive season, Railways has announced the operation of a new special train between Kolkata and Pratapnagar (Vadodara). This special train will pass through many important stations of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat, which will make it very easy to reach home especially for those passengers of Bihar and Purvanchal who want to visit their families during the festive season. The route and time-table of this train has been fully announced by the Railway Administration and booking for it has also started, due to which a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the passengers.

According to information received from railway officials, train number 03109/03110 Kolkata–Pratapnagar–Kolkata Weekly Festival Special train will be operated for a total of seven trips in both directions.
