Non AC coaches are being used more
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, while answering the question of MP Haris Beeran in Rajya Sabha, said that Indian Railways is using the maximum number of non-AC coaches. Haris Beeran asked the Railway Minister that trains are getting overcrowded. What measures is the government taking to deal with this challenge? Along with this, is the number of non-AC trains also being reduced? Nowadays trains are overcrowded and entry of unreserved passengers in reserved coaches has become common.
Amrit Bharat Express also ran along with Vande Bharat
Ashwini Vaishnav said that between the years 2019 and 2024, there has been a big change in passenger traffic due to the Corona epidemic. Indian Railways is running different types of trains according to the needs of the passengers. We have also run Vande Bharat Express and Amrit Bharat Express. Amrit Bharat is a non-AC train. Through this, the Railways has provided high quality service to the passengers.
Crowd is being controlled by running special trains
