Jaipur, August 2 (HS). Railway Protection Force has arrested a YouTuber for performing dangerous stunts on railway track. Railway Protection Force has taken action against the YouTuber for endangering public safety by criminally tampering with the railway track for publicity. An immediate investigation was conducted after a viral video on X showed a man placing various types of objects on the railway track. The culprit Gulzar Sheikh has uploaded more than 250 videos on his YouTube channel and has more than 2 lakh subscribers. His on-camera activities have posed a major risk to both railway safety and operations.
Through detailed analysis of Sheikh's YouTuber profile and social media presence, RPF Unchahar Northern Railway registered an offence under various provisions of the Railway Act. On the same day, a joint team of RPF and local police arrested Gulzar Sheikh son of Syed Ahmad from his residence in Khandauli village, Soraon (Allahabad), Uttar Pradesh.
DG RPF also appealed to the public not to indulge in such activities and report any act that compromises railway safety and security. Such information can be given to the Railway Protection Force or Rail Madad through toll-free helpline number 139.
