A very important and big news is coming for lakhs of candidates looking for jobs in Railways. Railway Recruitment Board (Railway Recruitment Board)rrb) has released the official answer key of CBT-2 exam 2026 conducted under Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC). All the candidates who appeared in the examination can download their response sheet and answer key by visiting the official websites of their respective regional RRBs through login credentials. Along with this, the board has also declared the time limit for filing objections.

Objection window will remain open till July 22, pay special attention to time

According to the official notification released by the Railway Recruitment Board, if a candidate has any doubt on any answer issued by the Board or considers it wrong, then he can lodge an online objection against it. This objection window 22 July 2026 Will remain active only till 11:55 pm. Candidates are advised to submit their claims to the Board with strong documents and evidence well in time without waiting for the last date, as objections sent through any mode after this deadline will not be considered.

How much will be the fee for filing objection and what is the process?

As per RRB rules, candidates have to raise objection per challenge i.e. on each question. ₹50 The prescribed fee will have to be paid. If the objection raised by the candidate is found to be correct and legitimate, then the fee for that question will be refunded by the Board to the bank account of the candidate, but the fee for wrong or rejected objections will not be refunded. For payment, candidates can use digital means like net banking, credit/debit card or UPI.

Candidates have their eyes fixed on the final answer and result.

All objections received will be thoroughly reviewed by subject experts of Railways. If the objections are found correct, then the answers will be corrected and on that basis the final answer key will be prepared. It is expected that the final result and cut-off marks of RRB NTPC CBT-2 exam can also be declared in the first or second week of August 2026. Through this examination, qualified candidates are to be appointed to thousands of posts in various zones of Indian Railways.
