Amrit Bharat Trains: Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, two Amrit Bharat Express trains were started by Indian Railways some time ago. The first of these trains was run between Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal. The second train ran between Malda Town-Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru). After the successful launch of these two trains, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that 50 Amrit Bharat Express has been approved by the Central Government.
The train started from 30th December
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has shared information related to the approval of 50 new Amrit Bharat trains on social media platform X. This decision has been taken after the overwhelming response to Amrit Bharat trains launched by Prime Minister Modi on December 30. Amrit Bharat train has been manufactured by the government under 'Make in India'. This is a modern train of Indian Railways. This train was launched recently keeping in mind the convenience of the common man.
Features of Amrit Bharat Train
This non-AC train has second class unreserved and sleeper coaches. With 6,000 hp WAP5 locomotives at either end, the train is capable of running at a speed of 130 kmph. The train has two engines as it is a Link Hofmann Busch (LHB) high speed train of push-pull design. An engine at the front of the train pulls the train forward. Whereas the engine at the rear helps in moving the train forward. Due to which it easily achieves high speed.
