Raid in search of two more media personnel in the case of illegal occupation of land worth crores

Kanpur, 01 August (HS). On Thursday, in search of the accused in the case of illegal occupation of crores of rupees worth of land, the police force raided the houses of two more media personnel.

Today the police has appealed to the people that if any journalist or anyone else has threatened or demanded money or extorted money, then a complaint can be lodged with the police.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Shravan Kumar Singh said that raids are being conducted continuously in search of the accused in the case registered in Kotwali police station on July 30. The government has given strict instructions that strict action should be taken against those who illegally occupy land. Action should be taken by registering a case against anyone who occupies land.

Police teams raided the houses of accused Wasim Khan, resident of Deputy Padav police station Anwarganj and Aman Tiwari, resident of Koyla Nagar Mangala Bihar of Chakeri police station area, named in the case registered in Kotwali police station. But the accused were found missing from their homes.
