It has been decided from where Rahul Gandhi will contest the Lok Sabha elections. This decision has been taken in the meeting of Congress Working Committee.Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's Lok Sabha seat has been decided in the Congress Central Election Committee meeting held today.

Rahul Gandhi's name will be included in the first list of Congress! Rahul Gandhi will once again contest elections from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat of Kerala.

In view of the Lok Sabha elections, a meeting of the Central Election Committee of Congress was held. Many big leaders including party's national president Mallikarjun Kharge, former president Sonia Gandhi were present in this meeting. In the CEC meeting, the names of the candidates are approved from among the names sent by various screening committees.

In the first list of Congress, names are likely to be decided on 60 seats of Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Meghalaya, Tripura, Sikkim and Manipur.

The CEC meeting for Telangana and Kerala has ended and the meeting for the remaining states is still going on. The Congress manifesto committee headed by former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram has prepared a draft manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

In the Lok Sabha elections 2019, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi contested from two seats, Amethi and Wayanad. He faced defeat against sitting Union Minister Smriti Irani in Amethi seat and Rahul Gandhi won the Wayanad seat.
