New Delhi: Congress leader and MP from Rae Bareli Rahul Gandhi took oath in Parliament today. He had a copy of the Constitution in his hand at that time. Instead of the usual oath taken by touching a religious text or the national flag, Rahul Gandhi took oath by holding a copy of the Constitution in his hand. However, this process is also considered acceptable.

After taking the oath, he shook hands with the marshal standing behind Pro Tel Speaker Bhratruhari Mahtab. Congress MPs present in the House said, 'Look at the humility of our leader.'

After taking oath, Rahul Gandhi raised slogans of Jai Hind, Jai Constitution.

It is noteworthy that after taking oath, the person appointed to the post of Prime Minister salutes the Protele Speaker, then meets the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament. He shakes hands with him. When after taking oath, the opposition leader salutes the Protele-Speaker and shakes hands with the Prime Minister. But it is natural to be surprised by this attitude of Rahul Gandhi.

After taking the oath, Rahul Gandhi said in a post on the social media platform 'T' that it is the duty of every patriotic Indian to protect the Constitution, we will fulfill that duty fully.
