What is the allegation?

In this case, Karnataka BJP has accused the Congress of giving false advertisements in mainstream newspapers. The advertisement accused the then BJP government of the state of committing massive corruption during its 2019-2023 reign. The BJP said in its complaint that the Congress had also published a 'corruption rate card' against the previous government, in which it was accused of taking 40 percent commission in all public works. The complainant accused the Congress party of running a defamation campaign against the previous BJP government. The BJP alleged that Rahul Gandhi had posted this 'objectionable advertisement' on his account on the social media platform 'X'.
