Rahul Gandhi defined the word 'God' in America, said- 'God does not mean God; BJP challenged Congress | News India

Washington: Opposition leader and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is currently in the US on his four-day informal visit. Meanwhile, in a conversation in Texas, Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi addressed the growing concerns about the Indian concept of 'God' and his views on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on jobs Speaking about Indian culture and values, Gandhi pointed out that the word 'God' is often misunderstood as being associated with divinity.

Rahul Gandhi said, “God in India actually means a person whose inner feelings are the same as his outer expressions, i.e. he is a completely transparent being, it does not mean God. If someone tells me everything he believes or thinks and expresses it freely, that is the definition of God…. The interesting thing in our politics is how you suppress your thoughts, your fears, your greed or your desires and how you suppress and overshadow the fears and desires of other people.”

Gandhi highlights the relevance of this concept in politics, saying, “In politics, the interesting thing is how people suppress their own opinions, fears, greed or desires and focus on the opinions of others. The real challenge is to listen to others, not just offer your opinion.

Rahul Gandhi also emphasised the role of listening in effective leadership. “Listening is more important than speaking,” he said. “It is fundamental to understanding people. In politics, you don’t have to raise every issue but focus on solving basic issues. When you really listen you choose your battles very carefully.”

Employment problem in countries

The Congress leader said that there is an employment problem in western countries. There is an employment problem in India, but there is no employment problem in many countries of the world. There is no employment problem in China. There is no employment problem in Vietnam.

China Production Center

Rahul said that if you look at America in the last century, this country was the center of world production. Later, production in America started declining. Production started in Korea and then Japan. Eventually China became the center of production. If you look today, China dominates world production.

BJP challenges Congress

Bhatia claimed that the Congress had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China during its rule. Rahul Gandhi's efforts to weaken Indian democracy are the result of that agreement. If I am wrong, I challenge Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to make the MoU public.

Competition with China

The ruling BJP has strongly counter-attacked this. Party spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that Rahul Gandhi is engaged in weakening India and he is standing with China. While talking to the students of Texas University, the Congress leader said that there is no lack of skills in India. If the country starts preparing itself for production, then it can compete with China.

Kharge came out in defence of Rahul

On BJP's allegations regarding Rahul Gandhi's US visit, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge said that he has never defamed India and will never do so, this is our promise. BJP people need excuses and they keep raising such issues all the time.
