Kanpur, 09 May (HS). Kanpur Lok Sabha elections are becoming interesting day by day. As the voting is getting closer, everyone from heads of political parties to big leaders are seen moving towards Kanpur in support of the Lok Sabha candidates. In this series, on May 10, Congress President and MP Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav will hold a public meeting for alliance candidate Alok Mishra at GIC ground in Chuniganj. Preparations in this regard have been completed by the administration and the party.
Voting has taken place on more than half the seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Voting in Kanpur is to be held on 13 May. Due to which Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and SP chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will come to the city on Friday and hold an election rally. The administration has made adequate security arrangements. SP and Congress leaders have been entrusted with the responsibility of gathering crowd in the public meeting. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the party workers about the public meeting. This election meeting is being considered very important for the alliance. Because the fourth phase of voting is going to take place, in which the parties want to gain lead by infiltrating the seats in UP. Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav will try their best to create an atmosphere in favor of alliance candidate Alok Mishra.

Joint Police Commissioner Harish Chander on Thursday took stock of the preparations for the public meeting to be held at GIC Ground of Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav. The Joint Commissioner of Police inspected all around the grounds. Gave necessary guidelines to the officials present on the spot. Referring to the incident of scuffle and forceful jumping of barricades in the Mainpuri rally, while giving instructions to the Samajwadi Party workers, he said that on the arrival of Samajwadi Chief, they should control their enthusiasm and in case of any disorder, strict action will be taken.
