Indian Constitution represents the unity and ideology of our country: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, in his remarks on the Constitution in Parliament, said the Indian Constitution represents the unity and ideology of our country, inspired by the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. “The Constitution embodies the set of ideas of our country, which have come from Mahadev, Guru Nanak and Basavanna,” he said. In his speech, Rahul Gandhi talked about fearlessness, non-violence and truth, which he had mentioned recently. Meanwhile, he also showed many pictures of God in the Parliament.

‘There is nothing Indian in the Constitution…’ Rahul Gandhi said on Savarkar’s statement

Holding the Constitution book in his hand, Rahul Gandhi quoted Savarkar and said, your leader (Savarkar) said that there is nothing Indian in the Constitution of India. He said, “You praise him (Savarkar) reluctantly because you have to.” After this, Rahul Gandhi showed both Manusmriti and Constitution books and said, “The Constitution of India is not Indian, this book should be kept in place of the book by which India is being run.”
