R Ashwin said goodbye to international cricket, emotional atmosphere in the dressing room

India’s great spinner R Ashwin announced his retirement from international cricket on Wednesday. 38-year-old Ashwin made this decision public after the third Test between India and Australia was drawn. Ashwin will now not play the remaining two Tests of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and will return home from the Australia tour.

he adds:
“I have seen the transition of greats like Rahul Dravid paji and Sachin Tendulkar paji. Everyone’s time comes, and now it’s my time. I have enjoyed the journey and made some amazing relationships.”

Ashwin expressed his gratitude to captain Rohit Sharma, former captain Virat Kohli, and coach Gautam Gambhir.
