R Ashwin Retirement Speech: Ravichandran Ashwin on Wednesday (December 18) announced his retirement from all forms of cricket after the third Test against Australia was drawn in Brisbane. With this Ashwin said goodbye to his 14 year long career. At the time of his retirement, 38-year-old Ashwin had reached fifth and third place in the ICC Test rankings for bowlers and all-rounders respectively. He was famous in the cricket world as ‘Ashwin Anna’. These days Ashwin has become very famous on YouTube and social media.
Ashwin became emotional in the press conference
Ashwin, who came to the press conference with Rohit Sharma after the end of the Brisbane Test, said, ‘This is my last match as an Indian cricketer at the international level. I feel I still have life left in me as a cricketer, but I would like to highlight that… I will see this performance in cricket clubs, but this is the last day. I enjoyed it a lot.
Ashwin said, ‘I have collected many good memories with Rohit and some of my other teammates. Although I have not played with some players in the last few years. Meanwhile, Ashwin thanked BCCI and fellow players and coaches.

Games will be seen in IPL!
Ravichandran Ashwin, who played 287 international matches, will not be seen in international cricket in future. However, he will still continue to play in the IPL. Chennai Super Kings i.e. CSK bought him for Rs 9.75 crore. If he performs well in 2025, the Chennai team can retain him again.
