Supreme Court's attack on IMA: The Supreme Court has now attacked IMA, which had filed a case of misleading advertisement against Baba Ramdev's company Patanjali Ayurveda. After the court's decision, Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna personally apologized. After this, an apology was also given by giving advertisements in newspapers. The then IMA President Dr. RV Ashok has given such a statement in an interview, due to which he is under target. Ashok raised questions on the bench while talking about the comments made on allopathy doctors during the hearing in the court. Patanjali has now filed a contempt petition against IMA.
Supreme Court rejected IMA
Hearing this, the Supreme Court reprimanded IMA. In this way, the scene seemed to be changing and the court which was till now taking Patanjali to task has raised questions on the attitude of IMA. The bench of Justice Hima Kohli and Justice Amanullah said that you are questioning Patanjali for misleading advertisement. They are demanding to remove their addiction but what are you doing? Advocate PS Patwalia appearing on behalf of IMA said that we appreciate the court. But RV Ashok raised a question which is the main issue.
The lawyer said that the IMA president had no intention of saying anything wrong about the court. On this the bench said that this is not a trivial matter. IMA President has spoken to the media on a case going on in the court. Not only this, the court said that the reply of IMA's lawyer was not satisfactory to us. The bench said, look what he has done to himself. Maybe we can give you a chance. Justice Kohli said, “One thing we make clear is that the court does not expect anyone to attack from behind.” This court has also had to face criticism.
We should be given a chance till the next hearing.
Regarding this, IMA's lawyer PS Patwalia said that we should be given a chance till the next hearing. The lawyer said that the IMA chairman is apologizing. He realizes that he should have kept his mouth shut. On this the court said, let's see how the case progresses. The court's decision applies as much to you as it does to Patanjali Ayurveda. Acharya Balkrishna, MD of Patanjali Ayurveda, has filed a petition regarding the interview of IMA Chairman.
