Moscow, 19 December (HS). Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that he is ready to talk to US President Donald Trump on the Ukraine war. Putin said that to end the war, both Russia and Ukraine would have to compromise. There is no condition for this.
In fact, in a statement, US President Donald Trump had said that he would reach a Ukraine peace agreement within a few hours of coming to office. Regarding this, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in the last press conference of the year that he is ready for talks with the newly elected US President Donald Trump “at any time”. Putin further said that Russia is currently in a stronger position than it will be in 2022. Despite Russian military advances in Ukraine, it is ready for talks and compromise.
At the press conference, Putin also admitted that the fighting in Ukraine is complex but that the Russian army will definitely drive the Ukrainian armed forces out of the Kursk region. He said that our people are fighting. There is a fight going on right now and a serious fight going on. Surely our army will drive them out, there is no other way.
