Punjabi youth went abroad and became a corrections officer in New Zealand Police


A Punjabi youth from Sela Khurd town of Garhshankar has brought glory to Punjab in New Zealand. Actually, Punjabi youth Satyam Gautam has become a corrections officer in New Zealand Police. Satyam had gone to meet his sister on visitor visa. Satyam Gautam, son of Narendra Gautam, is the first youth from the district to be recruited as a corrections officer and graduate in the New Zealand Police. Satyam went to New Zealand to meet his sister on 5 August 2023. When Satyam went to jail with his brother-in-law Akshay Kumar, posted as a jail officer, the jail officer, after seeing Satyam's physical fitness, said that we need such police officers, for which he urged him to apply. Punjabi youth becomes correction officer

After applying, Satyam passed the written examination and physical test.
