Mohali Court has issued bailable summons against Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal. The court of Judicial Magistrate First Class of Mohali Court had sent a notice to the complainant of the case Rupinder Singh alias Gippy Grewal to testify. Gippy Grewal has not appeared in the court for three hearings. Due to which the court has issued instructions to present him with a bailable warrant and a bond of Rs 5 thousand.
On May 31, 2018, Gippy Grewal received voice and text messages from an unknown number on his WhatsApp. In this message, he was given a number and was asked to talk to gangster Dilpreet Singh Baba on this number. It was written in it that this message has been sent to demand ransom. After this, Gippy Grewal complained about this to the Mohali Police. The court said that if Gippy Grewal does not appear on the next date, a non-bailable warrant will be issued. The next hearing is to be held on August 20.
According to the information, on July 4, the court had issued a warrant against Gippy Grewal and directed him to appear on July 10, but the bailor presented a report in the court that Gippy Grewal has been in Canada for several months. In such a situation, the court believes that Gippy Grewal is the complainant in this case and his testimony is necessary, so it is necessary for him to be present in the court in person. Despite this order of the court, Gippy Grewal did not appear in the court on Tuesday, due to which the court issued a warrant again.
