Hisar, 26 July (HS). The Punjabi community has demanded representation of a person from the community from the Hisar seat. In this regard, a delegation of eminent personalities of the Punjabi community met former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupendra Singh Hooda. Prominent personalities of the community met Bhupendra Hooda at his residence in New Delhi and demanded ticket for Punjabi leader Ravi Bhutani.
While meeting Bhupendra Singh Hooda on Friday, the intellectuals of the society said that Ravi Bhutani is a friendly and honest person and Ravi Bhutani has a good image among the people of 36 communities. The delegation of Punjabi society assured Bhupendra Hooda that if the Congress party gives ticket to Ravi Bhutani from Hisar, then every section of the society will support Ravi shoulder to shoulder. He said that he is confident that if the Congress party fields Ravi from Hisar, then we will work hard day and night and will definitely put this seat in the bag of the Congress party. Bhupendra Hooda assured the delegation and said that keep working on your goal with full hard work and dedication. Tickets in the party will be given on the basis of survey, so the strong candidate at the field level will get the ticket.
Expressing gratitude to the people of the society, Ravi Bhutani assured Bhupendra Singh Hooda that if he gets a chance, he will try to live up to the expectations of the society and the party. He said that the way the people of the society have come to Delhi for me, it increases my responsibility even more. I will not be able to repay this debt of the people of the society in my lifetime.
