Ludhiana: The weather remained hot in Punjab on Wednesday. In many districts the day temperature was two to three degrees Celsius above normal. Patiala was the hottest in Punjab. Where the maximum temperature was recorded at 32.1 degrees Celsius. Whereas in Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Ferozepur the temperature remained between 31 degrees Celsius. The temperature in other districts was 29 degrees Celsius.
According to the department's estimate, there is a possibility of rain in Punjab for two days due to the active western disturbance. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain amid strong winds in many districts on Thursday. Yellow alert has been issued regarding this. After this, there is a possibility of strong winds in many districts from midnight of 23rd March.
