Punjab Weather Update: Punjab Monsoon is getting sluggish in the state. A continuous rise in temperature is being observed. On Saturday, there was light rain in some areas. There is a possibility of light rain in Pathankot, Hoshiarpur and Rupnagar today. There is a possibility of pocket rain in the remaining districts as well, while the weather is likely to remain dry in West Malwa including Amritsar, Tarn Taran.
After two days of dry weather, the monsoon is expected to become active again on Tuesday and Wednesday. A yellow alert has been issued in Punjab on both days. This alert has been issued for Pathankot, Hoshiarpur and Rupnagar, while the rest of the districts are also expected to receive good rains.

Mohali- The temperature was recorded at 34.4 degrees on Saturday evening. Light clouds and rain are expected today. The temperature may remain between 28 to 33 degrees.
Ludhiana- The maximum temperature was recorded at 33.5 degrees on Saturday evening. Light clouds and rain are expected today. The temperature may remain between 26 to 34 degrees.
