New Delhi: Former ADGP of Punjab Police Gurinder Singh Dhillon has entered politics. Dhillon is expected to contest elections from Ferozepur. The party has announced its candidates for all the seats except Firozpur. However, after taking retirement recently, Gurinder Singh Dhillon had said that his health is not good, hence he is taking early retirement.
Devendra Yadav, in-charge of Punjab affairs at the Congress headquarters in Delhi, included him in the party. Dhillon was ADGP Law and Order in Punjab Police.
