At around 12 o'clock in the night, ASI Naseeb Chand, posted at Sidhwambet police station, was going for checking duty with his fellow policemen, when the car suddenly went out of control and hit a tree. According to the information, ASI Naseeb Chand was going on duty for checking at night along with policemen Nishan Singh and Sahil.
Suddenly the car went out of control between village Leela and Bottlewala and hit a tree, in which ASI Naseeb Chand, Nishan Singh and Sahil all got seriously injured. All were brought to the private Kalyani Hospital in Jagraon for treatment. Due to critical condition, Naseeb Chand was referred to Dayanand Hospital, Ludhiana and he died during treatment there.
