Jalandhar: A special cultural and educational program was organized by Punjab Press Club in the context of International Mother Language Day, in which burning issues of Punjab were discussed and songs related to social concerns were also presented. Addressing the program, Principal of Khalsa College Amritsar, Dr. Mahal Singh said that Punjab is currently struggling with multifaceted problems. Big steps need to be taken to bring it back on the path of development and prosperity. Pointing towards the burning issues of Punjab, he said that agricultural crisis has been going on here for a long time. Due to this, farmers are on the path of agitation and are also committing suicide after getting trapped in the debt trap.

To bring Punjab's agriculture back on track, farmers should also get remunerative prices for their crops.
