Pulse polio campaign will be conducted in the state on Sunday, June 30

Jaipur, June 15 (HS). The National Pulse Polio Campaign to be held on June 23 in the state will now be conducted on Sunday, June 30. For this, Medical and Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar and Additional Chief Secretary Shubhra Singh have given their approval to organize the Pulse Polio Campaign on June 30 in the state.

Mission Director NHM Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni said that this decision has been taken in public interest due to the intense summer season in the state and the PG-NEET entrance examination for admission to higher medical education on June 23. He said that all preparations have been completed to administer pulse polio immunization medicine to more than one crore children from birth to 5 years on Sunday, June 30 in the entire state.

The Medical Minister and the Additional Chief Secretary of the Department have expressed gratitude for heartily accepting the demand of the doctors' organization, All Rajasthan Serving Doctors Association 'ARISDA' and fixing a new date for the Pulse Polio Campaign after prompt discussion with the Central Health Ministry.
