Katihar, 25 September (HS). Eastern Railway has announced to run special trains for the convenience of passengers in the upcoming festive season. 09 Puja special trains will be run by Sealdah Division in the months of October and November.
Eastern Railway PRO Eklavya Chakraborty said on Wednesday evening that these special services are being started in view of the heavy rush of passengers in trains going to North Bengal.
The PRO said that the Puja special trains running from Kolkata include Kolkata-Katihar, Kolkata-Digha and Kolkata-Gaya and the Puja special trains running from Sealdah include Sealdah-NJP, Sealdah-New Alipurdwar, Sealdah-Patna, Sealdah-Saharsa and Sealdah-Gorakhpur. He appealed to the passengers to get information on the official website of the railways before planning their journey.
