Dehradun, 05 April (HS). Former military officers and soldiers took membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday in the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. During this, the Chief Minister said that the public's trust in BJP has increased. Will definitely make BJP victorious in all five seats of Uttarakhand state in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

State Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated as the chief guest in the program organized on the eve of BJP's foundation day at BJP Lok Sabha election office New Cantt Road, Salawala under Mussoorie assembly constituency on Friday. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was welcomed in a grand manner with flower garland in the program. During this, the Chief Minister welcomed all the former military officers and soldiers into the BJP family by garlanding them with caps, placards and flowers. Former Chairman of Public Service Commission Major General AS Rawat along with 05 Major Generals, 06 Colonels, 03 Lieutenant Colonels and 01 Naval Commander took membership of BJP.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has set new records of development in the last 10 years. Indian economy has become the fifth largest economy in the world. The military power of the country has become stronger. In the third term of the Prime Minister, India will become the third largest economy, India will become the superpower of the world.

He said that on one hand there is an alliance of the corrupt and on the other hand the Prime Minister has an alliance with the public. The Prime Minister says, “Corruption has to be rooted out. So the opposition says we have to remove Modi. Public inclination towards BJP is clearly visible in the programs organized in various places of Uttarakhand. We have to break the record of our last election. Everyone will have to work together for this work.

The Chief Minister said that the slogan of 400 crosses is the key to developed India. The Prime Minister has deep affection for the soldiers and their families. A military base is being built in Dehradun in the memory of martyred soldiers. The army has been further strengthened under the leadership of the Central Government. The morale of the soldiers is higher than before.

Soldier Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi said that earlier when there was firing from Pakistan, permission was not given to fire from here, till then many of our soldiers were martyred. But today if a bullet is fired from there then the shell is fired from here. All this has been possible because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Minister Ganesh Joshi assured Chief Minister Dhami that BJP candidate from Tehri Lok Sabha, Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah will win from Mussoorie Assembly constituency by double the margin.

During this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi also honored Radhika Joshi, a resident of Dehradun Hathi Badkala, for winning the title of Miss Uttarakhand.
