Nawada, 09 October (Hindustan Reporter). After the announcement by the state government to conduct PACS elections on time, the activities regarding the elections have intensified. The draft of voter list related to PACS elections was published in the presence of various PACS presidents and potential PACS president and member candidates on Wednesday in Kauakol block of Nawada district.
BDO cum Electoral Officer Dr. Akhilesh Kumar said that the voter list was published in the block office on Wednesday regarding the PACS elections. On which voters will be able to come to the BDO office and register their objections till 22nd October. The final publication of the voter list will be done on October 25. On the basis of which the upcoming PACS elections will be conducted.
He said that the related voter list has also been uploaded on the website of PACS. According to the information received, PACS elections will be conducted simultaneously in all the 15 Panchayats of the block. According to the published voter list, 247 in Chhabail Pax of the block, 1303 in Darawan, 2204 in Devangarh, 1196 in Kauakol, 2035 in Kewali, 2489 in Khadsari, 915 in Lalpur, 1100 in Mahuder, 1913 in Manjila, 1373 in Nawadih, 1287 voters in Paharpur, 1451 in Pali, 2095 in Pandeygangaut, 1682 in Sarauni and 1422 in Sokhodevra will be able to cast their votes. CO Manish Kumar, BPRO Shama Bano, BCO Kundan Baranwal, Principal Assistant Sanjay Kumar Sharma, Nazir Sintu Kumar, Chandan Kumar etc. were present on the occasion.
