After which the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said, 'The public holiday of 16 September 2024 announced earlier has been canceled.' According to the press release issued by the central bank, 'The Maharashtra government has declared 18 September 2024 as a public holiday under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.' In such a situation, all banks in Maharashtra will remain closed on Wednesday, September 18. Apart from this, banks are going to remain closed in Sikkim due to Pang-Lahbsol.
