Jammu, July 14 (HS). Shivsena Hindustan Jammu and Kashmir President Pandit Rajesh Kesari on Sunday held a strong protest in Arnia in which he condemned the recent terror attacks in Jammu and called it a cowardly act of Pakistan-based terrorists. The protesters, including prominent people like Balveer Kumar, Balwant Saini and others, raised anti-Pakistan slogans and demanded a decisive response.

Kesari paid tribute to the brave military personnel who sacrificed their lives and expressed solidarity with their families. We are ready to give our lives for these brave soldiers protecting the country, Kesari said. He criticised Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and called for holding Pakistan accountable for aiding and abetting terrorism.

Kesri stressed the need for India to be prepared for the next generation of terror attacks, pointing to the increased use of drones for smuggling and attacks. He linked the rise in violence to the successful completion of the Lok Sabha elections and increased military operations in the Kashmir Valley which have forced terrorists to shift their focus to the Jammu region. Kesri said the epicentre of terrorist activity has shifted to Jammu in the last three years as army operations have reduced their operational capability in the Kashmir Valley. The army has significantly weakened the terrorist network in Kashmir and this has frustrated Pakistan.
