Protest against abusive language in Nanda Devi Mahotsav, demand for arrest after reciting Hanuman Chalisa | News India

Nainital, 5 October (Hindustan Reporter). Hindu organizations have taken a strong stand against the use of abusive words towards Mata Nanda-Sunanda on social media during Mata Nanda Devi Mahotsav. After submitting the complaint letter to the police on Thursday, two hours of symbolic bhajan-kirtan is being performed daily at Pant Park Mallital under the leadership of High Court advocate Nitin Karki. On Saturday too, Hanuman Chalisa was recited here, in which strict action was demanded against the accused.

The organizers announced that the bhajan-kirtan would continue until the accused was arrested. He demanded quick and strict action against those using abusive language, and also stressed on respect for religious sentiments.

Many workers including Manoj Kumar, Vivek Verma, Sonu Bisht, Pankaj Bisht, Prem Sagar, Pradeep, Akash, Nitin Karki were present in the program.
