Mirzapur, 01 August (HS). The proposal to establish the Center of Excellence for Dragon Fruit in Devrikala of Madihan Tehsil has been approved. Director of State Industrial Mission Uttar Pradesh Dr. VB Dwivedi has said in a letter sent to District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan that the project proposal for the establishment of the Center of Excellence for Dragon Fruit has been approved.
In the 42nd meeting of the State Level Working Council held on June 23, the Agriculture Production Commissioner, UP Government and Chairman, State Horticulture Mission, UP approved the project proposal for the establishment of the Center of Excellence for Dragon Fruit. He said that while ensuring further action as per the rules, information on the progress should be provided to the Directorate from time to time.
