Sub-division fire officer Satyanarayan Singh said that a sudden fire broke out at Manish Kumar's house located in Naya Bazar Lovely Anand Path on Thursday afternoon. Victim Manish Kumar told that due to the fire, goods worth about Rs 5 lakh including Rs 25,000 cash were burnt to ashes. He told that due to the fire, a diwan bed, two Godrejs, TV, geyser, luggage kept in the trunk, Rs 25 thousand in cash, three bags of gold jewellery, expensive saree, ceiling fan, table fan and other items were burnt.
