Rohtak, 19 October (Hindustan Reporter). International Chef's Day was celebrated today at the Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management of Maharishi Dayanand University. In this program organized in the department, IHTM professor Prof. Sandeep Malik gave an informative introduction on the importance of International Chefs Day. Pro. Anand K. Singh addressed the gathering highlighting the emerging role of chefs in the global hospitality landscape.
Chef Anurag, operator of Anurag Cafe, participated in the program as the chief guest. He gave business related information to be successful in hotel, hospitality and culinary sector. He stressed the role of positive attitude in the service sector. Director of IHTM Prof. Ashish Dahiya spoke about the institute's commitment to fostering culinary excellence and its growing focus on providing practical learning experiences to students through collaboration with the industry. A highlight of the event was the workshop conducted by Nestlé India chefs, which featured live demonstrations of Vietnamese coffee and pasta making, giving students a unique opportunity to engage with expert chefs and learn about international cooking techniques.
