Varanasi, June 24 (HS). Prof. Vijaynath Mishra, Head of the Department of Neurology, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) met Prof. Patrick Larsson, Vice Chancellor of Karlstad University in Sweden, in his office. During this, Prof. Mishra presented the famous masks made of paper pulp of Kashi to the Vice Chancellor. Prof. Mishra also presented masks to Dr. Powell, Director of Global Studies and Faculty of Religion.
During the meeting, Vice Chancellor Prof. Larson expressed his desire to work together on the social, philosophical and religious aspects of neuro-related diseases in the coming days. And it was decided to prepare and send a Memorandum of Understanding to Director IMS and Vice Chancellor BHU to work together with the Department of Neurology, Institute of Medical Sciences for research in this field. They also agreed on the exchange of students and faculty.
