Naveen Kumar Arora was honored by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Government of Uzbekistan. Pro. Arora was given this honor by ‘The International Strategic Center for Agri-Food Development’, the premier organization of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Government of Uzbekistan, for his exemplary contribution in the field of environmental sustainability and sustainable development in the International Conference of Ecology, Environment and Sustainable Development program. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. N.M.P. Verma Prof. Congratulated and congratulated Naveen Kumar Arora and described his success as a matter of pride for the university.
Pro. Naveen Kumar Arora worked continuously for 3 years in the field of environment and land restoration in collaboration with National University of Uzbekistan and National Research University of Uzbekistan as part of research work. Under this, through organic farming, the less fertile land was made more fertile again by using bio-fertilizers, as a result of which the more fertile land will be used for better production of crops. In this work, work has been done by using biotechnology and various microorganisms and keeping in mind environmental adaptation, the positive results of which are continuously being seen in the crops there. This research work has proved to be an excellent example of translational research from laboratory to land.
Pro. Naveen Kumar Arora told that we have invited researchers from Uzbekistan, mainly Prof. Together with Dilfuja Agambardiva and his other colleagues, he has worked to promote biological farming in Uzbekistan, the successful results of which are visible through increased soil fertility and better crops. Also, in the future, various bio-fertilizers will be manufactured using biotechnology at the National Research University of Uzbekistan. Efforts are being made by the research teams of both the countries to do better research work in the field of agriculture in Uzbekistan, which will improve the condition of the land there as well as establish mutual relations between the universities of the two countries through educational activities. Can happen. Professor Arora said that he is very happy to receive this award as his work has been recognized at the international level.
