East Champaran, 18th May (H.I.S.). Prabhat Pheri was taken out by the National Service Scheme (NSS) of Mahatma Gandhi Central University to create awareness among the voters.

Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Prasun Dutt Singh, who is leading it, while addressing the students and voters, said that voting is the moral responsibility of all of us and we should not be deprived of this responsibility because it is a great festival to strengthen democracy. It is through voting that democracy becomes stronger as it ensures that the person we have voted for will play an important role in our and this nation's development.

Assistant Professor Dr. Shweta informed the students about this rally and explained the importance of voting. After that the ferry was flagged off in the presence of all the teachers. This Prabhat Pheri went through the district school campus of Mahatma Gandhi Central University till Charkha Park. To make people aware on the way, various posters and placards were displayed and slogans were raised. Efforts were made to create public awareness among the people with slogans like 'Your voting is the welfare of the country', 'First voting then refreshments', 'Election festival is pride of the country' and 'Aware voter is the creator of India's destiny' etc.

Teachers from various campuses and departments of the university were present in the rally, including Prof. Rajendra Singh, Dr. Shyam Kumar Jha, Dr. Yugal Dadhich, Dr. Bablu Pal, Dr. Shweta, Dr. Govind Prasad Verma, Dr. Garima Tiwari, Dr. Prerna Bhaduri, Dr. Pankaj Singh. , Dr. Shivendra Singh, Dr. Shyam Babu, Dr. Kundan Kumar, Dr. Umesh Kumar etc. were included.
