Lucknow: The call for Lok Sabha elections has intensified and speculations are being made that the Election Commission will announce the elections at any time. At such a time, the 'India' alliance formed to fight PM Modi and to a large extent Congress has created a situation like 'one evening there are thirteen'. Nitish Kumar, Mamata Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal have left the alliance. Senior leaders are also leaving the party. At such a time, Congress workers have become confused due to the news of rift in the high command within the Congress. While there is speculation in the media about the rift between Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, Priyanka's absence in Rahul Gandhi's 'Naya Yatra' has added fuel to the situation.
At a time when preparations are going on for the Lok Sabha elections to be held in April-May, after the unprecedented success of 'Jodo', Congress has once again organized 'Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra' from Manipur to Mumbai under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. . 'Bharat Yatra' from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. The Nyaya Yatra entered Uttar Pradesh on Friday evening. At this time Priyanka Gandhi was not present to welcome Rahul Gandhi. This issue has become a topic of debate in Congress.
Even when Rahul Gandhi started the Nyay Yatra from Manipur, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra did not join the yatra. Although, he had announced to join Rahul's Nyay Yatra in Uttar Pradesh on the first day, but withdrew his name at the last moment citing illness.
Priyanka has clarified that she will not be able to participate in the yatra as she is hospitalized due to illness and has wished all the passengers including Rahul the best.
Before Rahul Gandhi's Nyay Yatra entered Uttar Pradesh via Chandauli on Friday evening, Priyanka had written on the 'X' platform, 'I was eagerly waiting for the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra to reach Uttar Pradesh, but due to illness. I had to enroll. I have fallen in the hospital today, I will join the journey as soon as my health improves. Till then, I wish all the pilgrims who have reached Chandauli-Banaras, my colleagues from Uttar Pradesh who are preparing for the yatra with all their hard work and my dear brother. However, Congress leaders did not accept Priyanka's sudden ill health.
Rahul Gandhi's Nyay Yatra will visit Uttar Pradesh from Friday 16 February to Wednesday 21 February and 24 to 25 February. Congress says that there will be a two-day break in the yatra on 22 and 23 February.
Due to Priyanka's absence in the Nyay Yatra, talks of rift between brother and sister are also being discussed within the Congress. Amid rumors of tussle between Rahul and Priyanka on the issue of dominance in the party, Congress has suspended Acharya Pramod Krishnam, considered very close to Priyanka in Uttar Pradesh. It is believed that Priyanka is angry with this step of senior party leaders. Acharya Pramod was talking about Hindutva at the behest of Priyanka and Priyanka tried hard not to suspend him but there is a discussion within the Congress that at the behest of secular leaders he has been shown the way out. It is noteworthy that Acharya Pramod has been recommending Priyanka Gandhi in place of Rahul Gandhi in Congress for many years.
Taking advantage of Priyanka's absence in 'Nyaya Yatra', BJP has also fueled rumors of rift between brothers and sisters. BJP leader Amit Malviya said, 'All people should take care of their health. However, even when Yatra 2.0 started, Priyanka Vadra stayed away from it and today when Rahul's Yatra has reached Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka is not there. The fight between brother and sister for dominance over the party is no longer unknown.
