New rules for Delhi private school fee increase: The Delhi Directorate of Education has asked private schools in the national capital seeking approval for fee hike to submit their proposals before the start of the academic session 2024-2025. Officials have given this information. An order issued in the national capital on March 27 said that no private unaided school in Delhi, which has been allotted land by government agencies, will increase fees without the approval of the Directorate of Education.
Schools will have to submit proposals by April 15
Delhi Directorate of Education has asked heads/managers of all private unaided schools to submit proposals on its official website from April 1 to April 15. According to the order, if any school does not submit the proposal then it will not increase any fees till then. The Directorate of Education has approved its proposal.

The Directorate of Education has made it clear that the proposals sent by the schools will be scrutinized through any officer or teams authorized by the Director. If no proposal is submitted by the school in terms of this order, the school will not increase the tuition fees/fees. Any complaint regarding fee increase without prior approval will be taken seriously. Besides, legal action will also be taken.
