Private companies selected 372 youth from Gurugram ITI.

Gurugram, 18 October (Hindustan Reporter). A district level employment fair was organized at the Government ITI campus located in Sector-14, Gurugram. 412 youth had come for interview in this fair. Out of which 280 youth were selected for apprenticeship and 92 were selected for vacant posts.

Principal of ITI Institute, Jaideep Singh Kadyan said that this employment fair was organized with the aim of providing employment to more and more children under the National Apprenticeship Act. In which students who had passed out from all the ITI institutes of the district had come for interview. The Principal told that the owner of Munjal Showa Limited and famous industrialist Yogesh Munjal inaugurated this employment fair. On this occasion, he said that there is always a need for skilled youth in the private sector.

There are immense possibilities for employment in the private sector and most of the youth working in private companies for the last ten-twenty years are completely satisfied with their work and the remuneration they are getting. Apart from Munjal Showa, officials of reputed companies like Suzuki Motorcycle, ARGL Limited, JBM Limited, Honda Motorcycle, Haldiram etc had come to the fair for interviews.

Principal Jaideep Singh Kadyan said that a total of 412 youth appeared for interview in this fair. Of these, 372 were selected on the spot. Of these, 280 youth will be placed on apprenticeship for one year and 92 have been selected for jobs on vacant posts. These youth are proficient in works like metal cutting, turner, welder, tool and die, grinder, machinist. He wished the selected youth all the best for their prosperous future. The youth who were not selected were motivated to get further training.
