Prisoners and inmates who did self-employment courses in jail were honored

Jhajjar, June 9 (HS). As per the instructions of National Legal Services Authority, the District Legal Services Authority on Sunday inspected the facilities provided to prisoners and other detainees in the district jail. On this occasion, those prisoners and detainees were felicitated who have taken training for self-employment while staying in jail.

Jhajjar Authority Chairman District and Sessions Judge Ajay Tewatia and Civil Judge Senior Division Vinay Sharma, DLSA Secretary and CJM Arvind Kumar Bansal conducted a surprise inspection of the district prison. During this, each barrack and kitchen in the jail was inspected and necessary instructions were given to the jail officials after listening to the problems of the detainees and prisoners. District and Sessions Judge Ajay Tewatia directed the jail superintendent to ensure proper cleanliness and drinking water arrangements in the jail.

In District Jail Jhajjar, prisoners and detainees are being given AC and fridge repairing course by Rural Self Employment Training Institute through PNB. District and Session Judge Ajay Tewatia honored the prisoners doing self-employment course by giving them certificates. On this occasion, Session Office Superintendent Jasmer Singh, Assistant Uma Dutt, Jail Superintendent Seva Singh, Deputy Superintendent Jang Sher, Amit, Para Legal Volunteer Karamjit Chillar and other jail staff were present.
