Ghaziabad, 17 February (HS). The Municipal Corporation is leading in the work of tax collection among the big municipal corporations of Uttar Pradesh. Principal Secretary Urban Development Amrit Abhijat praised the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation administration in a virtual meeting on Saturday. Also motivated the team.
Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Singh Malik said that Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation has made more recovery this year compared to the previous year and the work is being done in a systematic manner by planning continuously.
Chief Tax Assessment Officer Dr. Sanjeev said that in the previous financial year from 01 April to 28 February 2023, the Municipal Corporation had collected Rs 154 crore 99 lakh. This year, till 14 February 2024, approximately Rs 204 crore 39 lakh has been recovered.
