Kaushambi, May 27 (HS). The principal of a primary school in Sirathu has posted an objectionable post against the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on social media. Taking cognizance of this, the Assistant Basic Education Officer has lodged a complaint against her in Kokhraj police station and registered a case.
Varsha is posted as the principal in the primary school located in Rupnarayanpur Sailabi. She posted objectionable comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath one after the other from her Facebook account on May 25 and May 26. This was an attempt to spoil the social harmony.
After the post came to light, the officials handed over the investigation of the case to Assistant Basic Education Officer Neeraj Kumar of the Basic Education Department. During the interrogation, the Principal could not give a satisfactory answer to the ABSA. After this, the ABSS has lodged a report against her in the police station.
Police station in-charge Indradev Kumar said that as per the complaint received from Assistant Basic Education Officer Sirathu Neeraj Kumar, a case has been registered under the IT Act. Sub-inspector Rakesh Kumar Yadav is investigating the case.
