Ayodhya, 02 September (HS). Prime Minister's sports competition will be started in all the blocks of Lok Sabha constituency Faizabad from 4 September. The competition will be inaugurated by MLC Hariom Pandey at 10 am in Bachchu Lal Inter College of Pura Bazaar. Former MP Lallu Singh will conclude the competition at 3 pm on 5 September.
A two-day competition will be organized in all blocks. Gram Panchayat teams will participate in the block level competition in all 13 blocks of the Lok Sabha constituency. The final of the winner and runner-up teams at the block level will be organized at the Lok Sabha level. In which Kabaddi, volleyball and tug of war competitions will be organized. A meeting of the organizing committee was held regarding the preparations in Bikapur block.
In the meeting, former MP Lallu Singh said that the old governments did not encourage sports, due to which the youth did not take up sports as a career. Due to the encouragement given to sports and players in PM Modi's government, the youth are taking it as a profession. Today the thinking of the youth has changed. By including the ancient games of our villages in such competitions, those games have got a chance to be re-established.
He said that sports are an important part of our life. People use sports in many ways in their lives. It plays an important role in physical and mental development. There are many talents in rural areas related to sports. To improve them, they are provided a platform through competitions. He instructed the members of the organizing committee to complete all the preparations.
Present in the meeting were Bikapur Prime Minister Sports Committee's patron Rakesh Pandey Rana, Dinesh Verma, Sunil Singh Rajput, President Amarnath Pandey, Bhola Shankar Shukla, Lallan Bharti, Ram Sahay Nishad, Bharat Ji Jaiswal, Rampal Verma and other members of the organizing committee.
