Ayodhya, 13 November (HS). The final matches of the Prime Minister’s Sports Competition at the Lok Sabha level started on Wednesday. Block level Prime Minister Sports Competition was held on 4th September. The competition was organized in all the 13 blocks of the Lok Sabha constituency. In the block level sports competition, the final match is being played at the Lok Sabha level between the winning and runner up teams. In which the team will be declared the winner at the Lok Sabha level.
The competition was inaugurated by Mahant Mithilesh Nandani Sharan Maharaj of Siddhapeeth Shri Hanumat Niwas by lighting the lamp. He got introduced to the players and encouraged them. Cultural programs were presented by the students. On reaching the venue, former MP Lallu Singh and members of the organizing committee welcomed the chief guest with garlands.
A total of 14 Kabaddi teams are playing in the competition. In which a total of 6 matches were played. On Wednesday, the first match was played between Daryabad and Pura Bazar. In which the entire market was the winner. The second match was played between Purdelai and Bikapur. In which Bikapur was the winner. The third match was played between Milkipur and Sohawal. In which Sohawal won the match. In the match played between Pura Bazaar II and Draft, Draft won. In the match between Amaniganj and Bunikodar, Bunikodar was the winner. The sixth match was played between Sohawal and Haringtonganj. In which Haringtonganj became the winner.
A total of 11 volleyball teams are participating. In which 4 matches were played on Wednesday. The first match was played between Haringtonganj and Draft. In which Harringtonganj was the winner. The second match took place in Milkipur and Purabazar. In which Milkypur became the winner. The third match was held between Amaniganj and Daryabad in which Daryabad became the winner. In the fourth match between Milkipur and Mawai, Milkipur was the winner.
The chief guest said that such events provide a platform to the talents of rural areas. Due to which their talent improves. Sports is an important part of our life. Sports leads to physical and mental development.
The former MP said that sports keeps both the body and mind of a person healthy. Along with sports spirit, a sense of teamwork is awakened among the players. The central and state governments have made many schemes to promote sports. Due to which now youth are taking sports as a career.
