Kedarnath Dham, 1 October (Hindu). Prime Minister Narendra Modi's younger brother Pankaj Modi reached Dham on Tuesday for darshan of Lord Kedarnath. By performing Jalabhishek of Kedarnath, he wished for public welfare.

Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) Chief Executive Officer Vijay Prasad Thapliyal received him at the helipad and the temple committee including the pilgrim priests welcomed Pankaj Modi at the helipad. After this, Pankaj Modi directly reached Kedarnath temple. Performed Jalabhishek of Lord Kedarnath and performed Rudrabhishek puja. On this occasion, he wished for public welfare and sought blessings for the prosperity of the country.

After this, BKTC Chief Executive Officer Vijay Prasad Thapliyal, on behalf of the temple committee, presented Lord Kedarnath's Prasad, Angavastra, Vibhuti, Rudraksha rosary to Pankaj Modi. On this occasion, Pankaj Modi said that he has been visiting Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham for the last two decades.

It is noteworthy that for the victory of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Pankaj Modi had organized a special puja-archana ritual in the year 2014-15. He says that Narendra Modi's victory is the victory of the nation. After the effect of rain subsided, Kedarnath Yatra has gained momentum again. On an average, more than 10 thousand pilgrims are arriving every day to visit Kedarnath. Till now the number of pilgrims reaching Kedarnath has crossed 12.5 lakh. Similarly, more than one lakh fifty five thousand pilgrims have visited Badrinath Dham.

Amidst the increasing number of passengers, today BKTC Chief Executive Officer as well as Superintendent of Police Rudraprayag Akshay Prahlad Konde jointly took stock of the security and temple arrangements of Kedarnath Dham and interacted with the security personnel and temple personnel.

On this occasion, Chief Priest of Kedarnath Dham Shivshankar Ling, Superintendent of Police Chamoli Sarvesh Panwar and Reliance Energy's HR Head Buddha Sagar along with Dharmacharya Omkar Shukla, senior administrative officers Yaduveer Pushpwan, Kuldeep Dharmwan, Lalit Trivedi etc. were present.
